On May 9, 2014, His Magnificence Rector, professor Tomasz Miczka signed an agreement for subsidising the project entitled “Redevelopment of the monumental facility of the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice” in presence of the Undersecretary of State, Ms. Monika Smoleń.  The official signing of the agreement took place at the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage in Warsaw.
